FOURTH U.S. EBOLA OUTBREAK CONFIRMED

This past Monday an LA musician known as Demodog of the band “Death Cat” was diagnosed with Ebola symptoms when he was checked into Keck Hosptial yesterday, Monday morning around 6:30 am.  The band, Death Cat was touring through Dallas late in September when they stopped to visit a friend being treated at Texas Health Presbyterian.  Apparently this is thought to be before Eric Duncan was isolated.
    The band member’s roommate is also speculated to be infected since they were around “Demodog” while he was showing symptoms.  However, at this time the roommate cannot be reached but is thought to be somewhere in Los Angeles County.
  Demodog is said to be in critical condition at this time but is in an isolated intensive care unit. 

Dr.Michael Qurock replied to the contamination fear with saying:
“We’re taking radical steps to contain this virus.  There’s no need to worry about it getting out of this patients room as long as we take all the necessary steps to protect ourselves during treatment.”
